About the presenter:

Lin Laurie is an Adobe Technical Training Partner, providing training on Adobe Tech Comm Suite products through Lin Laurie and Associates (www.linlaurie.com), where she works as a long-term consultant in the technical writing and instructional design fields.

Lin taught as a part-time adjunct instructor at the University of Washington in their Technical Writing Certificate program for the last two years. She taught the Production Techniques and Technology course in that program.

Lin is the current President of the Puget Sound Chapter of the Society for Technical Communication and has held that position for 3 1/2 years. She is nearing retirement and contemplating starting to rewrite books that make her happy, like the four she’s published on Amazon. She’s got one on a Seattle-based murder mystery, called Death of Dirty Angels, a Bio called Adventures of Ambien and Other Stories, and an uplifting story for parents dealing with their dying children and how to explain death to children.
