We are starting a new community on Slack. If you don’t know what Slack is, have never used it, or want to know more, join us on Saturday, September 7th from 9-10:30 am to learn more, see our vision, and participate in our new, online community.
Slack is a cloud-based collaboration tool used throughout many high-tech companies to facilitate communication among teams, business units, projects, and more. In this training, we’ll talk about the best way for you to use it as a community builder as well as showing you the best ways to use the tool to get the most out of it. And, we’ve prepared a great training document that you’ll be able to download and use after the training to do more on your own. (Thank you, Jess Morgan!)
Log in early and download Zoom if it is your first time, and then test the audio and speaker options before you join the meeting. If you do so, you should not have any audio problems. If you do have audio issues, then use the telephone number to connect for the audio component.
September 17th from 10-11:30 am
Register and invite your company’s recruiters to this call so we can show them how to post technical writing roles on Slack!
