Join us for coffee, chat about the upcoming year’s program with the local president, and hear about opportunities to partner with the Mobile Usability Lab at Oregon Institute of Technology!

Program Details:

You will hear from OIT Communication Department faculty Amber Lancaster and Franny Howes on Saturday, August 18th at 9:30 am. They will share information about exciting opportunities to have your company’s website, documents, and other communication materials assessed for usability effectiveness. Learn how you or your company can be a client partner for a free student-led usability project or receive a professional-grade usability assessment at a nominal fee.

You will also get to chat with Lin Laurie, the current chapter president, about topics you’d like to have for the 2018-19-year chapter meetings.

There is a Honey Bear Bakery on the same site and it is at Third Place Books in Lake Forest Park. We will supply the pastries but you will need to grab coffee or a drink and then find us. We will be in a corner of the room at the farthest end of the Honey Bear area. If the attendance gets too large, we’ll book their meeting room.

Date: August 18th

Time: 9:30 AM to 11:30 or when we finish (we think it will end sooner)

Located in: Town Center at Lake Forest Park

Address: 17171 Bothell Way NE, Lake Forest Park, WA 98155

Phone: (206) 366-3330

Please register so we know how many pastries to purchase and whether we need the room or not.
